My name is Winta Haile, and I am currently a License Clinical Social Worker in the state of Nevada. I was born in Missoula, MT, and raised all over Northern Nevada. I mostly grew up in Sparks and Spanish springs. Graduated high school at Spanish Springs High School, went on to college at TMCC, UNR and finally USC. I earned my MSW in May 2016 and pursued my license until I earned that in April 2019. I am trained in eye movement desensitization and reprocessing, trauma focus CBT, and many other evidence-based practices including play therapy. I have a very diverse background when it comes to the population I work with the most, but I enjoy working with all people because I focus more on building therapeutic connections that foster a therapeutic alliance with the individuals and groups I work with so in the end we can collaborate to reach goals together.
I am a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in the state of Nevada. I was born and raised in Reno and can say Nevada is my home. Figuring out my purpose in life took me longer than most people. I studied several different subjects after graduating from high school. Nothing really resonated with my soul, that is until I took a test that paired career choices with personal attributes, passions, and talents. Enter nursing, the pursuit of human services, connection, and personal empowerment. I have been a nurse for four years and in healthcare for ten. My goal is to help my patients improve their quality of life so that they can spend more time with family, friends, and doing things they are passionate about. I live by the following motto: “True wealth is measured by the good a person does for others."

I have been married to my wife for 30 years and have 3 grown daughters. I enjoy art, philosophy, psychology, and jogging. I served in the Marine Corps and have worked for federal and state governments in the field of Information Security for 30 years. My areas of interest in providing care are anxiety, depression, PTSD, trauma/abuse, relational conflict, and military veterans. I am a licensed Clinical Social Work-Intern in the State of Nevada. I am a Northern Nevada native who received my Bachelor of Art's in Psychology in 2013 from the University of Nevada, Reno. After 9 years working in the affordable housing development industry, I graduated with my Master of Arts in Social Work in 2023 and started a new career to follow my passion helping clients overcome challenges in their lives. I serve individuals (adults, adolescents, and children), couples, and families. Therapy is a collaboration between you and I. You are the expert on yourself. My role is to help you develop self-awareness and skills to manage difficult emotions and life situations, increase self-esteem, and enhance satisfaction with your life. I have earned my certification as a Parenting Educator from the International Parenting School in conjunction with the Center of Interdisciplinary Studies at the University of Haifa, Israel. I also hold a BA in Human Development, and M.Eds. in Literacy Studies and School Leadership. I have served as an educator and school administrator for over 30 years. It is through my experiences as a parent and countless encounters with other parents and educators that I see the need in supporting those who are caring for and raising children. My practice encompasses individualistic and holistic models adhering to Alfred Adler’s positive psychology approach, which places the emphasis on meaningful and high-quality relationships and on creating a positive environment for children and their parents.

I have extensive knowledge in coding, billing, HIPAA, privacy and compliance. I graduated from the College of Southern Nevada in 2022 with my Degree in Health Information Management Technology and obtained my RHIT certification. I am also a Certified Professional Coder. I enjoy exploring the beauty that Northern Nevada has to offer as well as spending time with family and good food.
With over six years of experience in the medical field and an AA in business, I thrive in both healthcare and business environments. Beyond work, I find joy in outdoor activities like snowboarding and lakeside moments. My heart belongs to my family, and I cherish moments with my daughter, husband, and our shared adventures in travel.
