Reno, NV – Meridian Health, a leading outpatient trauma treatment agency, proudly announces its newest line of service: Behavioral Health Urgent Care. This expansion marks a significant step in Meridian Health’s commitment to providing holistic, comprehensive, and compassionate care for individuals, families, and couples in the community seeking recovery from trauma and other mental health disorders.
Behavioral Health Urgent Care will allow clients to be scheduled within 24-48 hours of contacting the office, facilitating a middle level of care between acute psychiatric hospitalization and the emergency room.
Meridian Health’s mission is to empower individuals, families, and couples on their journey to recovery from trauma and other mental health disorders. This new service line will provide immediate access to services while continuing to develop strong therapeutic relationships with clients and community partners, fostering an environment of trust and support, and expanding access to behavioral health services in the community.
The continued partnership with Safe Embrace demonstrates Meridian Health’s commitment to addressing trauma and attempting to end the cycle of domestic and sexual violence through innovative prevention and intervention services. This includes weekly support groups led by certified clinicians to help Safe Embrace clients process past events and explore healthier coping skills.
